Jazz leads the heart to the soul
The Michele Smith jazz ensembles are made of conservatory trained musicians devoted to their art. The repertoire is a mix of standards, bossas, blues, and fusion. Ms. Smith provides the occasional vocals and a few of the tunes are in French, Portuguese, Spanish, and even German adding a nice cosmopolitan flavor. They have performed at clubs and restaurants, for corporate parties, brunches, and weddings.

The Flute and Guitar Duo
is a wonderful pairing
of instruments that are particularly suited to one another. Especially appropriate
for intimate settings or background music this light ensemble can provide a swinging
jazz repertoire and can also mix in classical music arrangements and of course,
holiday fare as requested. Andy and I sound really great together, listen to this!

everything together for a lively and swinging jazz ensemble - great for either a

The NY Jazz Flutet,
made up of five jazz flutists and a drummer, grew out of the New York Flute Orchestra
and has been performing as a group for the past three years. This group presents a very unique and vibrant sound. Many of the pieces are written or arranged by the ensemble members. If you want something different, this is it! Listen to a Sample of me with the NY Jazz Flutet
