New York Jazz Flutet

The NY Jazz Flutet, made up of five jazz flutists and a drummer, grew out of the New York Flute Orchestra and has been performing as a group for the past three years. This group presents a very unique and vibrant sound.  Many of the pieces are written or arranged by the ensemble members.  If you want something different, this is it!

The members are: Musical Director, Dotti Anita Taylor, on C flute and piccolo; Jan Leder on C flute, Elise Wood on C flute and alto flute;Michele Smith, C flute and bass flute; Chip Shelton, C flute and contrabass; and Art Lillard on drums (in lieu of the traditional rhythm section).
